SyncBack Freeware is a nice backup software to synchronize between a local folder and a remote folder. I helped a user to setup multiple profiles to back up some folders on a remote server. When I tested the profiles, I found the sub-directories were not synchronized for some of them. I compared the one that’s working to the one that’s not and I didn’t find the differences in the settings.
It took me a while to figure out what’s wrong. The problem for some of profiles is that I entered the source folder names manually and I didn’t include a trailing backslash. The trailing back slash is included if you use the browse icon to select the folder. Here is a screenshot of the correct folder name entered. Notice the trailing back slash at the end of the source folder name.
